    This class incorporates the basic poses and transitional movements of vinyasa flow into integrated sequences emphasizing strength, stability, and breath awareness. Enjoy the meditative quality of a yoga flow class that regulates your nervous system while slowly building toward challenging poses that require more attention and understanding. (Note: arm balances and inversions will not be taught in this class.) 

    This class prioritizes building the strength required for a sustainable, injury-free yoga and movement practice that suits your body's needs and your active lifestyle.

    You’ll need:
    Yoga blocks
    A blanket
    A bolster

  • Somatic Strength and Mobility Flow

    This class focuses on improving strength and mobility in areas prone to injury or overstretching (hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and lower back) at a slower pace and emphasizing internal awareness. We will explore core and joint strength to improve functional movement capacity, build confidence, and reduce aches and pains that might hinder your movement on and off the mat.

    The class varies weekly but you might need:

    A light set of weights for upper body and overhead work, and one heavier weight or kettlebell for lower body and balancing work

    A small inflatable Pilates ball like this one is here.

  • Somatic Movement and Flow 

    This class offers a perfect opportunity to slow down and invite your body to move in a conscious and exploratory way. Using somatic movement and breathing techniques to reduce muscle tension and regulate your nervous system, we’ll explore movement patterns in a longer-than-usual floor-based flow warm-up before moving into standing sequences.

    This class will work out the kinks and calm scattered energy.  Walk away feeling grounded and relaxed after releasing the stress of your week.
